So. There is definitely NO SCHOOL today!! Woot! I'm uber excited right now... because at the moment, I'm a bit sick of school. Ironically, I am spending today and tomorrow (there's no school tomorrow either) studying like a crazy person for AP exams and other exams that I get to look forward to. Yay me.
So I started watching Glee today because my sister and friends kind of suckered me into watching it. Actually, it's a decent show. For those of you who actually watch Glee, is anybody else upset that Finn isn't with Rachel, but instead Jesse is with Rachel? I mean, I still have a bad feeling about Jesse's intentions. Rawr Rawr! Finn and Rachel! But. Moving on with my life.
Anyways, today, I went to the library to do some research and to pick up some books for the research paper that I have to write. My topic is about Chinese, Korean, and Japanese American Struggles: Past and Present, so naturally, I had to go to the 6th floor, where all of the social science books are. Yea. So I went up to the reference desk on the 6th floor and asked if they could help me find the books on the list that I had written down. The guy at the reference desk looks at the list and he tells me "no". I was asking myself why he was at work if he just refused to help me find a book. I mean, it's his job! So instead of being able to find all of my books in about 15 minutes, it took about 45 to find the books I needed for my paper. Whatever. At least the other people at that library are nice. :/
So Virginia and I are really excited to tell you about what we're gonna start doing every other week. If you all are youtube geeks like we are, you may have heard of a channel called PCR, or Pop Culture Revival. If you've seen it, awesome. If you haven't, you should watch it. They no longer post videos on that channel anymore, although I really wish they did. What Ginny and I want to do on this blog is do something like that. Basically, we will choose a theme and we will pick a piece of pop culture to review. Aaaaand, I'm going to let Virginia explain the rest of the information on how we're going to format our version of PCR when she puts up her next post!
Virginia, I'm really sorry that this post is like a day late!!! I tried to put this up last night, but then I got yelled at for being up too late!! So this is going up today!! XD
PS- This was meant to be a Wednesday post, but it's actually going up Thursday. I don't know why this thing is being weird and saying that it's Tuesday...

Hey! It's Ginny and Adrienne! Join us for the Ride!
Hello there! I'm Ginny (as a fore mentioned, its a coincidence that its my nickname and this blog happens to have the references it does). I'm a geek and proud of it. I'm a huge fan of Doctor Who, Torchwood, Supernatural, Star Wars, really the list is quite extensive. I'm a big video gamer. I mean really big. I was playing video games before it was cool for girls to play video games (and it was used as a tacky pick up line.. ladies... please).Which means, my role on here (besides being me..) is to bring in some more video games. I'm also very fond of movies and music. I will watch just about anything, aside from romance and romantic comedies.. seriously.. *shivers* I'm just not a fan of those.I do like to ramble so therefore, ADRIENNE will have to edit my stuff (she knows she really likes editing such things right, Adrienne?) You'll all come to see that when it comes to words, Adrienne is way better at that. When it comes to video games and making things blow up on CoD, I'm better at that. We make a pretty good team.
So I'm Adrienne. I live in Chicago, IL. I'm kind of a city kid but I also enjoy the peace and quiet of nature. Yea. So I'm basically like one of those kids that really like different cultures and places, hence, there are A LOT of places in the world that I would LOVE to visit. For instance, I really want to visit South Korea, the UK, Spain, Italy, Latin America, etc.
I'm basically an instrumental music geek, although my primary instrument is the clarinet. I really enjoy all instruments and I really like music theory. I'm not like Ginny, who plays video games excessively. Really, the only "video game" I play a lot is DDR (Dance, Dance Revolution). Indeed, I do spend a lot of time on the internet, unless my internet decides that it wants to give out on me... However, I am really in to Doctor Who and Harry Potter! I do watch a lot of movies and I love to listen to music. I appreciate all kinds of music, usually, and unlike Ginny, I do read some romance novels and watch some romance movies. I am really geeky, but as far as geeky, Virginia is more so than I. Actually I'm nerdy and I find that I like to talk about things that nobody cares about. If you get me started on something I like, I like to ramble about it, so Ginny's not the only one.
Although, there are some differences in the personalities of the two of us, we actually have a LOT in common. And we're here to share our similarities and differences with the rest of the internet world, should you decide to read our blog. So this whole blog right here is just a form for the two of us to share things we find on the internet, or in some other source and put it out there for our fellow nerds and geeks. We do spend a lot of time on the internet and youtube in general, so we do come across a lot of random things. And to be honest, we may ramble on here a bit from time to time. Yes, this blog will be full of geekery and nerdiness and full out references that some people will not get. But every once in a while, we'll write a post that makes sense to the rest of the world, like on a movie or something. I think the best advice I can give you guys is to just roll with that we say, you might have loads of fun. If you understand what we're saying or what not, please, join us! And slowly, but surely, nerds/geeks will take over the world!
