Adrienne here. Yes. So this week is blog PCR week again. Woot!

So this week's theme is ... drum roll pleaseeeee... Britain! Yayyyy!

So this week, I'm blogging about the music aspect of this topic and I'll talk about two British artists from youtube. (By the way, if we didn't tell you before, Lauren, Virginia, and I are actually really big youtube geeks. We're on youtube a lot. Actually, Lauren and Virginia have a youtube channel that they share called The Time Ladies... and I'll be putting a link to that at the end of this... [:)

The first artist that I want to talk about is named Alex Day, and he is known on youtube by the username "nerimon". If you haven't seen his videos, you really should check him out cause he's awesome. Link to his youtube page in the link section at the bottom. What? Alex Day sounds a bit familiar to you? The name rings a bell? Yea! It's actually because we have talked about him before on this blog. Alex Day is the mastermind behind trock, so the band that we talked about before for Doctor Who week, Chameleon Circuit, is a band that he's in. In case we didn't mention this earlier, the members of Chameleon Circuit include Alex, Charlie (charlieissocoollike on youtube), Chris, and Liam (littleradge on youtube). Yes. They are all British.

However, if trock isn't your thing (in which case, I don't know why it wouldn't be... :P), Alex Day also writes his own music. So far, he has had an album come out called "Parrot Stories" and another album come out called "117% Complete". "Parrot Stories" is mostly pop music, where he sings about romance and what not. "117% Complete" is about video games, featuring 3 songs.

On the "117% Complete" soundtrack there is a song about Sonic, a song about Pokemon, and a song about Mario Kart. They're actually really cool songs because he talks about all of the developments that they have added to the games.

"Parrot Stories" is more or less an album where he sings about love and romance. As a heads up, quite a few of the songs are actually sad songs (the lyrics) but they have upbeat accompanying music. XD

So the next artist that I wanna talk about is Tom Milsom and he is known on youtube as "hexachordal". Yes, I'll put a link to his youtube page in the link section too. Tom Milsom is from England as well.

Tom Milsom likes to write trock, but he also has another album out, that can be purchased on DFTBA records (link in the thingy at the bottom). His other album is called "Painfully Mainstream". This is an album with an assortment of music. My favourite part of that album is that he actually has a song for every season. Haha. He has a song called "Wintersong", another called "Summersong", another called "Springsong" and there is an "Autumnsong". This is actually really good music, but I think my favourite song on that album is probably "Indigo".

So, because it is really, really late here, I think I'm going to end this blog post and I'm going to go to bed. So, if you have anything to say, or if you have any questions, put it in the comments, and we'll get back to you. XD
