So therefore, without any further ado, lets talk about TROCK.
So, first of, what is TROCK? Trock means Timelord Rock, and its essentially songs about Doctor Who, whether it be the characters or the adventures, or if its told from a third person view, or from a character view (TARDIS included). TROCK was created by Alex Day, who later formed the first TROCK band called Chameleon Circuit, with friends from Youtube. Bands in the TROCK genre usually name themselves based off a favourite episode, or a distinguishing feature from the show. For example, Chameleon Circuit gets their name from the part inside the TARDIS that no longer works (the part that is supposed to change the appearance of the TARDIS when it lands to blend in) and therefore the TARDIS is permanently the recognizable blue police box. The album TROCK ON! (which is really good and you all should definitely spend your money on right here *adrienne will be lovely and post the link on the DFTBA site kthnx*) http://dftba.com/shop/products/Trock-On!-%5BCD%5D.html was released and it has various artists like Chameleon Circuit (a personal favorite) and also Quantum Locked (another personal favorite). On the album you will also find a song called "Lloyd In the Void". Ok! All those die hard Doctor Who fans will remember two characters mentioned (Ianto and Jack) from certain episodes (and Gwen too) (ya know.. Journey's End?). Ya'll gotta understand that these wonderful names (Especially Ianto...) are from the TV series Torchwood.. but I'll get into that later on when we get Torchwood week! BUT yes, they still apply under the category of TROCK...because they were featured in the show at least once.. just.. roll with it kay? TROCK is, yes, like WROCK, except waaaaaay less Harry Potter and waaaaaaay more Doctor Who. XD
And now, I have a lovely little surprise..
Its the AMAZING SUPER DUPER MYSTERY THINGY!!!
:D yay!!!
I was lucky enough to get it this week (woot! go video gamer chics!) And there is a reason why I just mentioned that bit.. and more than likely why Adrienne was convinced I could hold this great responsibility.
Ok my die hard gamers and lovers of Doctor Who... you breathing alright? Good, cause what I'm about to tell you is going to make you squeal in delight.
Ok, so! BBC has announced that they will be releasing a Doctor Who one hour interactive series (just a fancy word for game) that will be compatible with both PC and Mac (yay!! finally!!). Charles Cecil was game designer, and the developing fun of it all will be handled by Sumo Digital, who many may remember have done other Who games. Fun parts! The two hour interactive series will be released on June 2010 (yes.. start the countdown!) and will be available for free download on BBC.
Don't wanna believe it? Too good to be true!?!

My ride is here, see ya all later, or before.. depends how you look at time, you see it isn't linear its actually a wibbly wobbly... ... *TARDIS noise* *fades away*
